Quick & Easy Gluten free Pizza base using the green Pastry Mix

(This is a scone base pizza) and great for a quick make.

1/2 a pack of Green Pastry Mix ( Make sure you mix the flour thoroughly before weighing out half as you want the ratio of flours to be correct)

  • 50g butter

  • 1tsp gluten free baking powder

  • 1 egg

  • milk made up to 75 ml(see note in method)

  • 1tsp cider vinegar

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  1. Preheat Oven to gas 7/220c/425F

  2. Place flour mix, salt,baking powder in a bowl. Rub in the butter until breadcrumb consistency acheived.

  3. Put egg in a measuring jug and add milk to make up to 75ml. Add the vinegar to the egg/milk mix and whisk together.

  4. Add your wet ingredients to your crumb mix and stir to incorporate to form a wet dough.

  5. Place dough onto a greased baking sheet and with floured hands press out dough to a thin crust.

  6. Spread on your pizza sauce and toppings and Cook for 20-25 mins.
